Artist Statement: The clouds in my paintings are infused with their mystery and moods. Clouds are elusive and constantly changing. They are there and then they are gone. The paintings in this new cloudscapes series are a departure from my previous contemporary work in subject, but continue to be emotionally expressionistic. Because of clouds’ transience, it is impossible to paint them. My paintings capture their underlying essence as I experience it.
